We are fans of making cookie and freezing them. This is one of the recipes we tried and my kids are obsessed. So we scoop the dough into cookies and then put them on the tray and in the freezer. We do not roll them into powder sugar until we pull them out to bake off. But we put them into the cookie shape so you just have to pull them out and place them on the tray. I’ve tried just putting big batches of dough in the freezer but obviously that took way too much time to thaw out and it was a bit annoying. So I learned my lesson on that one!

Also this flavor is very very matcha. If you know true matcha, its like grass. If you like grass then this is for you. Haha. We love matcha over in this house, I love making lattes and so much more. Matcha is our friend. But there is a lot of sweet tasting matcha out there that people think is the real deal but I need to warn you that matcha is not sweet. It is herby.  It is grass. Now the cookie does give a good sweet side to it but does still have the herby side.

With those warnings, I highly recommend making a double batch of these.  Our family makes at least 2 batches to freeze at a time. I currently have 2 batches in the freezer and plan to make another 2.  We love being able to pull cookie dough out and just bake it off. We have an issue with wanting something sweet to eat after dinner and by that time we are tired of cooking so we go with the simple route. Give me the easy dessert option please!!!
